“ (Loo)…a more rapturous player and cellist of the Denali String Quartet…(performed) Debussy’s neo-classical cello sonata. The fire and ice of the cello and piano seemed just about right.” -Mark Swed, Los Angeles, Times

“ Timothy Loo, a Jacaranda founding spirit, was the excellent cellist in Debussy’s convoluted, quizzical cello sonata.” -Alan Rich, LA Weekly
